Federal Skilled Worker Program
Eligibility criteria:
- Meet 67 point out of 100 points grid
- Have a minimum of 1-year full-time work experienced in the specific occupation (NOC O A B)
- Have a minimum level of CLB 7 in listening, speaking, reading and writing
- Must have a minimum qualification of Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree, as per the requirement of Occupation as per NOC – National Occupation Classification.
Federal Skilled Trades Program
The applicant must be eligible with the following requirements to apply for Skilled visa:
- Must have at least 2 years full-time work experience or equivalent part-time work experience
- Must have an offer of full-time employment for at least one year
- Must get a minimum level of CLB 5 for listening and speaking and CLB 4 for reading and writing
- Plan on living outside the Quebec province
- No minimum educational qualifications are required for Canada immigration through this program.
Canadian Experience Class
You must meet the following criteria to be eligible:
- Must have a minimum of 12 months of full-time work experience in Canada in the last three years or at least have an equivalent in part-time experience. Self-employment and work experience gained when you are studying will not count.
- You must meet the language levels mandatory for the job with regards to speaking, listening, reading and writing.
- You must plan on living outside Quebec.
