This permit grants permission to work under any employment except for those which do not comply with labour requirements (escort service, erotic dance etc). For open work permit there is no requirement of an offer letter or Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA).
Process :
Basically while applying for a work permit in Canada applicants should have a job offer except under certain circumstances.Subsequently they need to apply for a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) from Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC). Once it is approved, the applicant can apply for a work permit. It has to be noted that Canadian work permit expires after four years.
